What is an accredited investor
A FloatX accredited investor is a person who has completed the required regulatory
and completed requirements set out under the wholesale investor requirements.
In Australia, a sophisticated investor typically needs to have a net asset value of at least $2.5 million or an annual income of $250,000. We also follow other countries local requirments.
To become an accredited investor you will be required to undertake AML/KYC and sophisticated investor online verification – which takes only a few minutes.
Once completed you can trade and invest in any product on the FloatX platform.
Why become an accredited investor
Greater flexibility in investment choices
FloatX Accredited investors are able to invest in private placements, hedge funds, venture capital funds, and other alternative investments that are not available to non-accredited investors.
Access higher returns
Some alternative investments may offer the potential for higher returns than traditional public investments such as stocks and bonds. However, it is important to remember that alternative investments also tend to be riskier.
Greater diversification
Investing in a wider range of asset classes can help to diversify your portfolio and reduce your overall investment risk.
